Recent incidents in Jerusalem and the West Bank witnessed by the IOF have caused the escalation between the Palestinians and Israelis marking the third intifada uprising which began earlier this month.
With the efforts by the Israeli forces to enter the sacred Aqsa Mosque witnessed with and repetitive storming supported by the Israeli government violations have notably increased as live bullets are shot, tear gas used and homes demolished over home owners.
Incidents are similar to those which took place in the first Intifada in 1987 and again in 2000 where residents in Jerusalem and the West Bank have been subjected to intense violations after Israeli settlers have continued to engage in destroying Palestinian property, uprooting trees, and storming churches and mosques. On July 31st, 2015 a Jewish settler set fire to the Duwabsha family house in Duma village, south of Nablus city, killing eight month old baby Ali along with his two parents; the perpetrator was not stopped.
Violent clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces on October 3rd2015, in several Palestinian towns and villages in and around Jerusalem and the West Bank after IOF killed a 13 year old child with a clean shot to the chest using live bullets raising the death toll by IOF to 4 civilians including 2 from Jerusalem. Moreover clashes were also witnessed in the Aqsa Mosque courtyard mid-September 2015, between Jewish settlers, IOF and Palestinians coinciding with the Jewish New Year.
Several Palestinian youths were shot by IOF, police and military airstrikes after attempting to stab or stone Jewish settlers in the West Bank and East

Rahaf's twenty-two year old pregnant mother Nour Rasmy Hassan also died in the airstrike which targeted their home in West Gaza raising the death toll to 23 since the beginning of the clashes this month with over 2000 injuries including paramedics and journalists. Some were treated in hospitals while 1100 others are waiting to be transferred for treatment in the West Bank and Gaza according to official Palestinian sources.
IOF and Israeli police continue violating and oppressing Palestinian civilians both in Jerusalem the occupied West Bank, and Gaza amid international silence regarding the violence. The Israeli aggression have breached all international laws and agreements since they target isolated and innocent individuals including citizens, journalists and paramedic crews.
HRM calls on the international community to intervene and to take a clear stance regarding the continued killings and use of live ammunition targeting Palestinian citizens. It also calls on the UN to form a fact finding committee to investigate the killings and violence practiced by the IOF and Israeli police against civilians including children and women.
