On the International Women’s Day. Egyptian Women Struggle For Freedom
RECOMMENDATIONS
1- HRM urges the current authorities to abstain from using live ammunitions and lethal weapons against civilian unarmed protesters and to respect the right to life as a sacred right.
2- HRM urges the current authorities to immediately release all political detainees and prisoners of conscience and provide them with adequate reprisal.
3- HRM urges the current authorities to treat all detainees according to the Egyptian law, prisons laws and regulations as well as the standard minimum rules for treatment of prisoners.
4- HRM urges the current authorities to respect and guarantee the rights demonstrations and the right to freedom of opinion and expression.
5- HRM urges the current authorities bring to trial all perpetrators of crimes of killing, sexual harassments and rape.
6- HRM urges the current authorities to abide by the international conventions and treaties it signed and ratified.
7- HRM urges the UN to form a fact-finding mission into all the crimes against women and all Egyptians committed under the current authorities and to bring perpetrators of crimes against humanity to justice.
